Will had another great day today! His oxygen has been reduced to 21%, room air, and he's still saturating very well! And more fantastic news, Justin got to hold him for the first time today, and then I did :) Both without the CPAP, they removed it and just put the bag/mask to blow some oxygen at him and he still had great oxygen saturation for about 40 minutes then he got too tired from breathing and had to be put back on the CPAP.
He definitely recognizes me too, I was sitting with him and left to pump, when I came back the nurse told me he started fussing almost as soon as I left and didn't quit until I came back, poor baby! Only another couple days before he should start getting tube fed, if he keeps getting stronger as fast as he has been!
