Will is 20 weeks old now, and has now officially been home longer than he was in the NICU! We had the info downloaded from his monitor, now we wait for the NICU docs to look at it and send their recommendation to his regular doctor. Keep your fingers crossed they decide all is well! Then the regular doc can send the order to discontinue the monitor. I've been taking it off completely during the day, the most recent apnea he had just after coming home was always during deep sleep so he hasn't had any during the day since he came home. The belt causes some irritation so giving that some belt-free time is starting to let it heal. His belly button is also looking much improved, it was actually completely sucked in and wrinkly yesterday when I changed him. Still going in and out but it looks like it will heal on its own.

We're considering when we will be able to make a brief visit over to Seattle. I will have to get approval from Will's doctor to travel and it will likely be just me and Will since Justin doesn't have any more vacation coming. Have to work that in around all his doctor visits and make sure it's after his RSV shot has time to take effect. Nothing certain but I will keep you posted when (and if) we'll be in the area. It may be soon or we may wait until January or February. Hope this finds everyone well! It's 3 AM, back to bed.
