Will is having another pretty good day today. He had to have the canula putback on very late last night, mostly because the nurses didn't want to deal with putting it on for care and then removing it again. He only needs it when stressed. He got a bath this morning and smells super good :) And the great news today.. he hit 5 lbs! :D His feedings have been increased to 43CC/3 hrs and he actually got some milk out of nursing today! Not much, but some. I think I need to get a smaller shield, the lactation specialist gave me one which fits me but it is way too big for his mouth, I'm going to try getting a smaller size one which may be a bit uncomfortable for me but should fit him better. I've decided most of our nursing problems are because of my size & shape, when he gets bigger and stronger it won't matter but for now that should help. I only stayed for about 2 hours today, had some stuff to get done this evening. Justin assembled the new armoire which we're using as a TV stand ,it looks MUCH safer than the rickety stack of junk on a broken TV stand we did have.
