We're still doing well. Will had his visit with the opthamologist last week, his ROP is improving but not gone yet. They're hopeful it will completely resolve on its own and he needs to be seen every 2 weeks until then. We're switching to every 2 weeks now for his regular doctor visits too. He had a visit today, his weight is up to 8 lb 2 oz! What a chunker! He's getting leg rolls. The rash patch on his rear end isn't much better, we're trying an antifungal cream now to see if that fixes it. He's started having more times when he's awake, before he'd really only wake up and open his eyes after a bath or very rarely without one, now he has 1-2 blocks of an hour or so daily when he's perky and wants to make eye contact or look at things. He's outgrown all his preemie stuff and fits well into most of his newborn stuff now, though a few things are still too big and a couple 0-3 months things fit. I met a couple retired ladies at the clinic today, a former school teacher and social worker who were very interested in him and offered to babysit so I got their number for after he's fully healthy. Can't ask for a lot better credentials than that! Monday the 25th would have been my due date, Will is going to be 12 weeks old tomorrow (Saturday). Really not much else happening, life goes on. In the pictures, the one of Will naked after his bath you can see his umbilical hernia pretty well, it's pretty gross be forewarned.
