July 26

Will is doing great. He's standing without holding onto anything for up to about 30 seconds at a time more and more. He has 4 teeth that we know of, he won't let me check again so may be cutting more - before when he started clamping his mouth shut it was when he was cutting new teeth. He's on almost all whole cow's milk now and doing well. He's also getting larger finger foods and seems to be doing better with those than the small foods now. Currently his favorites are pickle spears, string cheese, grilled cheese sandwich, mini bagels, graham crackers, cheetos and yogurt. Not the healthiest diet but it gets calories into him.
I'll be 6 weeks along on Friday. Had the first ultrasound Wednesday, everything is fine but too early to see much. We could see the gestational sack and the yolk sack but not the baby yet. I have another appointment in about 3 weeks so may get to see the baby then. HCG is increasing a little faster than I'd expected but still within the normal range and everything appears to be just fine. Feeling much better than I did with Will too, had a little minor nausea, a couple more noticable spells and been tired but nothing even in the same league with how sick I was last time. Hopeful our good luck holds out! I just got a smaller size clothes a couple weeks ago and now they're uncomfortably snug so I'm back in my baggier clothes. Glad I saved a few sizes of "fat clothes" that can get me through until I need maternity.
