Will had another great day today. His weight is 5 lb 6 oz, feeding 48 ML/3 hours, oxygen was about 23%. He nippled 3/4 of his night feeds and 3/4 of his day feeds which is great! That means one complete feeding from each shift he was gavaged to let him rest, all the other feedings he took the entire amount or most of it by bottle, a couple times he needed the leftovers gavaged when he got tired. He's been producing a lot of dirty diapers, so he's never clean more than about 20 minutes before he goes again and he has a bit of diaper rash, so he's crabby about that poor little guy.
Our water softener and iron filter were supposed to be installed but we had to reschedule. The techs came out and looked it over, and decided they're not comfortable installing the way the first guy said to but they came up with an alternative plan that requires a bit more materials (same install price) so they'll be back next Friday. Justin's car is back in the shop, this time not because it's broken but because we ordered a part that came in. He's had a check engine light on for a while, for something that won't damage the car to leave it a while and this will fix it. Not much else going on!
Will is wearing a preemie size onesie in the picture, see how low it goes on his arms and legs? You can really tell how tiny he is!
