I'm going for another "procedure" tomorrow. Doc came in and talked to me this evening and said they're going to go in endoscopically down my throat, make a small incision in the valve from the duct to my intestines and remove the 2 lodged stones that way. The nurses told me a few more hours and if I tollerated the clear liquids (jello, broth, tea and juice) I could have some solid food. That time was just about up when the doc came in and told me I couldn't have any late-night snacks or breakfast, pfft, but 8 pm isn't a late-night snack so the nurse said she'd bring me a sandwich, but went to place the order and discovered I have a no solid foods order all night, bah. They said it probably would have made me sick and in pain anyway, oh well. Maybe I'll get to eat tomorrow, I haven't been able to eat a decent meal all week from the restrictions and pain :p What I really want is chocolate cake! I've lost 8 lbs in the last week, I think my body is craving calories more than anything. I did get them to bring me a popsicle and more jello. I'll be semi-conscious for tomorrow's festivities, but they said the medication I'll be taking will make me forget so I won't remember it after. I'm going to have to dump my milk for another day though, but that's okay, Will has a large stash of fresh & frozen milk so he doesn't need it and missing 2 days worth won't hurt - I make about 10 bottles/day and he only needs 1-2. I got one of the nurses to take me up to the NICU to say goodnight to Will, he's looking quite adorable :) The nurse thought so too, she hadn't been up to the NICU in years so she made a big fuss over him :D Or course I think he's adorable, I'm his mother that's my job, but it's great to have someone else confirm it! I have a double-occupancy room in the hospital, the other lady in here snores :/ Don't think I'm going to get much sleep, sounds like someone choking a cat! Just wait though, if I fall asleep I'll get even, I talk in my sleep, LOUDLY!!
