Will is still doing awesome!! He's up to 3 lb 9 oz now and looking excellent. Justin stopped by and took me up to the NICU so I got to go visit him and hold him briefly this evening, he was awake and looking around. His eyes are very dark blue, I got to see a bit when the light hit them. They just look black and white until the light hits them just so. He's looking so much better every time I see him now, I'm sure he'll be home in no time. He's 4 weeks old today, I can't believe it's been that long already.
I'm still in the hospital. All the stones are gone but my liver enzymes are still off balance so they're keeping me in observation for at least one more day. Hopefully I'll be going home tomorrow. They tried to do the surgery quickly to prevent getting stones stuck in the ducts but since it had already happened it required 2 proceedures and the impact is more than they exected. I'm pretty stiff and sore today, but able to eat small portions again. Every time I eat or drink I get some bad stomach cramps and a bit of indigestion but they say that should fade in a few days. I just really want to go home now!
