November 10

Will was very photogenic today, so I got some pictures of him doing something other than sleeping! He has a half smile in a couple, the delay on the camera made me keep missing getting a picture of a full smile, but you can see the little dimples he gets in his upper lip. I got an almost-a-giggle today, a little happy coo with a big grin :D He's also been talking to us, starting to look at us and deliberately make noises. His NICU grad onesie from his grandma finally fits, and he's been enjoying his rattle booties - before when I put them on him they made him mad. We managed to break his monitor somehow, no idea how. It was fine when Justin removed it in the morning, but when I went to put it back on at night the wire plug was bent where it attached to the machine, and the port it went into got popped back into the housing somehow. The company brought us a new one this afternoon. Only one more week and we get rid of it, it will be the first time aside from baths and removing it during the day that he'll be completely tube and wire free.
We got back test results which said his alk/phos levels are going the wrong way, so we need to put him back on the supplements for it. We stopped giving them because they were making him vomit, but the doctors insist they're the most gentle form. I'm breaking the dose down into a tiny bit in each feeding and that seems to be working so far. Anyway, enjoy the pics :)
