Will is up to 4 lb 6.7 oz today! He did very well on our practice nursing this afternoon, though I'm still pumping out so he doesn't get much milk that way. He's still in an open crib, maintaining his temperature. He's getting higher calorie mix on his feeds now, they've increased how much formula gets mixed in so he gets denser nutrition. He also got me today! I always cover him up as quickly as I can when I change his diaper, then I adjust it after he's covered so I don't get peed on. Well, I wasn't fast enough and peeing on me apparently wasn't destructive enough to entertain him so he squirted poop clear to the end of his crib, all over his blankets, the clean diaper I was in the process of putting under his rear and all over my hands, ick! Really gross, but pretty funny too, the kid has good timing lol, he was uncovered about 2 seconds after I was done wiping him and managed to cause that much damage in that time.
He's developed a bit of reflux so he wants to be held upright for a while after he eats or he fusses and gets desaturation episodes, so I got Justin to hold him when he got there this evening since it was time for me to pump and Will wouldn't let me put him down - only the 2nd time Justin has held him and Will snuggled right in.
