Evie was born 7 lb 4 oz, 19 inches - lost down to 6 lb 8 oz, was 6 lb 13 oz at our last doc appointment. Today she's up to 7 lb 15.5 oz, and I can't remember if it was 20.5 or 21.5 inches. Guess that explains the eating every hour she's been doing the last few days! She has a bit of an outie belly button, which doc says could develop into a hernia (it has a small hernia under it), could heal on it's own or stay the same. Other than that she looks great. She goes back April 7th. She's slept a little better at night the last 2 nights, 3-4 hours between feedings and I'm feeling much better after a tiny bit of sleep. Hoping she keeps it up, every 1.5 - 3 hours around the clock is rough! She still has a tiny bit of jaundice but it's improving.
Will gained too, up to about 23 lbs, he was about 21 last time. Doc seems to be accepting that he's probably just genetically a skinny guy, hubby was a skinny kid. We got some numbers to call for a developmental assessment too. We're a bit concerned about his talking, he's said a lot of words but doesn't use anything for long. He'll clearly say something a week or so then it goes away and he doesn't say it anymore - like he said Daddy a lot briefly and we realized it's been a month or two since he said it at all, most of his words are like that. Right now he copies a lot, but doesn't consistently use almost any words. Being slow to get started is one thing, but mastering then losing words is more likely to be a problem. I have a few different numbers to call to find out where we need to take him and how to get the assessment done.
