Will had a major success today - he peed on the potty chair for the first time! :D He dribbled a couple drops the other day, but today he went for real and was aware of it. Yeah!! He also jumped for the first time yesterday, which is a developmental milestone and surprised me, he never showed any interest or attempts just decided it was time to do it. He got his 2nd haircut Saturday, he needed it, he was getting a little mullet. I just cut it with the trimmers when I was doing Justin's anyway. His follow-up developmental assessment, the more in-depth one, is on a waiting list. They should call me back within the next 2 weeks sometime to set up an appointment, they're sending me a packet of paperwork and hopefully they'll have a plan for any treatment he needs within the next 45 days. He's still wearing mostly size 18 months, some 12, some 24 and a few 2T items, size 4 diapers and his size 5.5 shoes are getting tight. He's growing again which is great. His birthday party is this Saturday, and his birthday is the following Tuesday. Lyn is settling down and fussing a bit less, and a few times recently has actually sat quietly and content for a while. Her thighs are getting very chunky and we're getting lots of smiles, some talking but still no laughs. She's wearing size 2 diapers and 3-6 months clothes and some of her stuff is getting snug so we'll be moving on to 6 months clothes soon, she already fits a few 6 months items. She's 3.5 months old now.
I'm still on my diet, I've lost 53 lbs since Lyn was born and a total of 69 since my highest. Getting there! 33 more lbs and I'll have a BMI in the 'normal' weight range. We have a bid in on a condo, it's 2 bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage, and a dining area and attic that could be converted to more bedrooms. Decent sized. Trying not to get my hopes up too much since the price was just slashed and it was in escrow for over $30k more than we bid, it would be a major bargain and a real windfall if we get it.
