I had a checkup today. Doc said I'm measuring big, did another ultrasound to check how baby is doing - she's estimated around 5 lb 8 oz now. I'm 34 weeks 4 days and thats average for 35.5 weeks, so she's measuring about a week ahead now. Not as far ahead as she was, but still a big girl. Baby has started to drop and that's why I'm having more pressure and cramping. She hasn't been moving much so doc sent me over for a NST, non-stress test which checks to see if baby's heart is accelerating when she moves like it should. Test came out fine but I still didn't feel baby move much, we decided she must be in a position that I just don't feel most of it but I don't see how that's possible she takes up pretty much my entire abdomen now. Doc estimates she may be around 8 lbs at birth. Baby's heart rate was slower than it usually is, but doc says that's pretty normal as we get closer to delivery. If she still isn't moving much I'm supposed to come back for another NST in 3 days, otherwise I'm back in a week. She also decided to continue the terbutaline until 36 weeks. Can't say I'm thrilled about that, it messes me up pretty bad, but I do still need it every couple days and when we go out unless we want her to be born now. I'm flat out, just ran a marathon exhausted and winded most of the time now and feel like a manatee, being born now doesn't sound so bad to me!
Will is being a stinker today, having one of those days where he's into everything, doesn't want to sit still, doesn't want to eat, just wants to cause trouble. Lucky grandma is here to help today!
