Phew. Will's developmental assessment didn't go very well, as I'd expected. -_- Will was at age level in gross motor skills (did very well actually) and problem solving. Fine motor came back as an area to monitor and he needs further evaluation & probably intervention in communication and personal/social skills. She seemed more concerned with his lack of more complicated word combos than I was before, he's learning lots of new nouns and a few adjectives but not using verbs almost at all, and the multi-word combos he uses are 1 thought, not the kind they want. He says "all done" and a few other similar combos, but almost never uses multiple words that don't always go together. So we have to contact 2 other places to get further evaluation and see what they can do for him. They want me to go to a class next month, an hour away, for an over hour class with no kids allowed when Justin is working. Don't see how I can do it, we're trying to figure out a way. Maybe Justin can switch his days off from Thursday to Monday to work with that, it's only 4 Mondays. They also want us to meet with an occupational therapist to work on his feeding difficulties.
